From small beginnings: Nigel Arnot has had a passion for the aviation industry for as long as he can remember. Growing up near Camden Airport in NSW he watched the aircraft with fascination. This eventually lead to him gaining a pilots license and his first aircraft restoration project, a Ryan PT 22. This aircraft is still flying today and has won many awards it also featured on the cover of the 1987 magazines Aeroplane Monthly and AOPA.

Nigel has over 30 years aircraft maintenance experience specialising in Russian Yak’s as well as vintage aircraft restoration. He has a special interest in fabric and wood work. Nigel also has over 40 years flying experience. Winning his first Australian Unlimited Aerobatics Championship in 1991, he went on to win several more, taking home his last championship in 1996. For 12 years Nigel was also Australia’s number one Display Pilot. He continues his passion with aircraft and flying here in the Scenic Rim.
